PLEASE REBLOG IF YOU PROTEST THIS ACTION: NYC adult home residents asked to repay FEMA aid

Shame on you, FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency). You give a little bit of financial aid after the superstorm Sandy to help people who were forced to leave their building. It turns out it was just a nice PR opportunity to make Obama look good. Two years later you decide to ask them to reimburse it all…just before Christmas. Congratulations, I’m nominating you for Scrooge of the Year for 2014. Here’s an article describing the situation from the blog of Ann Johnson-Murphree.
