Shooting for a Free College Career with Scholarships?

I reposted a post from Okedamilolah about two weeks ago. She shared her advice on what to do the summer before your senior year of high school. And she gave some good advice.
Well, here I go again. This time she is sharing some advice from Christiana Oshotse, who received over 10 scholarships and will pay nothing for her university education.
That’s right, she will pay nothing for her university education. She explains how she did this and how others can also do it.
This is important information because the cost of a university education in the US is outrageously expensive. Here in France, and probably in most European countries, people can only shake their heads in disbelief when they hear the price of tuition in the US.
And too many American high school students seem to think that getting a loan that will take years to pay off is a fatality; there’s no way around it. But it is not. By going after scholarships, big and small, from big companies and small local associations, it is possible to get a university degree without going into debt.
So please share this with any high school students you know or with their parents.

School. Savings. Success.

Applying for scholarships my senior year was really an experience for me, mostly because I did not know what I was doing, I began applying late because I didn’t know where to look for scholarships. Fortunately I was able to get a few before senior year ended.

A lot of people have been asking about scholarship advice, and I believe that if I want to provide the best advice, it should come from someone who really thrived with scholarships. Christiana Oshotse, Westlake High School Valedictorian, received over ten different scholarships (national and local). She received several full-rides including the Gates Millennium Scholarship, and she has successfully paid off her undergraduate (and graduate school). She is really an inspiration to me. In my next post, I will include a list of scholarships that she applied to and their deadlines. Fortunately, she was able to provide some advice on how she achieved all…
