8 Steps to Getting What You Want… Without Formal Credentials

I recently shared a couple of posts from okedamilolah about preparing well for university and going after lots of scholarships to avoid paying too much for a university education.

This time I found a post on how to get ahead without a degree. This blogger makes a difference between the ‘formal’ job market, for which one needs a university degree, and the ‘informal’ job market, in which one prepares through personal study, learning from people who know how, building a personal network and then starting your own business or finding a job through your network of people who know you and see your qualities.

This path might not suit everyone, some people prefer the structure of a formal education. But for those who are independent and want to do things their own way; Why not?

If you are looking for easy solutions and short cuts, stop now and go back to what you usually do. This strategy demands a personal commitment, willpower, and perseverance.

8 étapes pour avoir ce que vous voulez…sans diplôme

Récemment j’ai partagé deux sujets d’okedamilolah qui expliquaient comme bien se préparer pour l’université et comment éviter de payer trop pour une éducation universitaire.

Cette fois-ci j’ai trouvé un sujet sur comment réussir sans diplôme universitaire. Ce blogueur fait une différence entre le marché du travail ‘formel’, où on a besoin d’un diplôme, et le marché de travail ‘informel’, où on se prépare à travers une étude personnelle, on apprend de ceux qui ont l’expérience, on crée un réseau personnel et puis on lance sa propre entreprise ou on trouve un travail à travers son propre réseau de personnes qui reconnaissent nos qualités.

Ce chemin ne plaira pas à tout le monde, certaines personnes préfère la structure d’une éducation universitaire. Mais pour ceux qui sont indépendants et qui veulent vivent de leur façon, pourquoi pas?

 Si vous chercher des solutions facile et des raccourcis, arrêter maintenant et reprenez vos activités habituelles. Cette stratégie exige un engagement personnel, de la volonté et de la persévérance.
